Mr. Hakkarainen has held several top executive positions in the ASSA ABLOY Group, the world’s leading manufacturer and supplier of locking solutions with over 29.000 employees. These positions include (not limiting):

 - Senior Vice President and Head of the Factory, Abloy Oy, Björkboda Business unit, Finland
for four years (1988 – 1992)

 - Country Manager and CEO, ASSA ABLOY Norway/Trioving AS, Norway for over three years
(1992 – 1995)

 - CEO of McKINNEY Products Company, Scranton, PA, United States for four years (1995 – 1999)

After returning to Finland from the USA he was appointed as Managing Director of Joensuu Science Park (1999 – 2001) before joining Mantsinen Group Ltd. Oy as CEO and major shareholder in 2001.

Mr. Hakkarainen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering from the Jyväskylä Polytechnic, Finland.

In his free time he enjoys basketball, golf and motor biking.
