Blancco – WAN Server is a Linux based centralized solution designed to handle data destruction and hardware information within the WAN. It also enables you to manage user rights thus allowing full control over the erasure process. Blancco – WAN Server is an ideal data wiping solution which requires minimum effort in report distribution to different customers. The complete erasure reports are stored in a database which can be located either at the customer server or outsourced to Blancco.
Blancco – WAN Server runs on Linux OS with Apache server and SQL database. By default it is installed with PostgreSQL which is a free database offering high performance. Blancco – WAN Server uses services provided by robust and powerful open source software, which makes it a cost effective solution.
