Blancco - Data Cleaner+ v4.5 HMG has been certified by the Communications-Electronics Security Group (CESG), the UK Government’s IT security group, after being independently tested by QinetiQ the leading computer forensics experts. Blancco - Data Cleaner+ v4.5 HMG exceeded the highest security specifications detailed in the HMG Infosec Standard No: 5.

Blancco - Data Cleaner+ v4.5 HMG is a powerful solution which completely and securely erases data from a hard drive making data recovery impossible. The software is tailored for desktops, laptops and also for server environments with RAID systems. It will securely overwrite data from any size of ATA/IDE/SCSI/USB/SATA and FireWire disks. Blancco – Data Cleaner+ v4.5 HMG is the only CESG certified software that is able to wipe data from SATA hard disks. In addition, the software erases all hidden/locked areas on a hard disk such as DCO, HPA and remapped sectors.
